Within 90 calendar days from date of hire and before assuming sole responsibility for any children, each staff member must hold current certification in pediatric first aid and CPR. All staff on the premises and accessible to children must maintain current certification in infant, child and adult CPR and pediatric first aid.

Louisiana的要求

Louisiana's Bulletin 137 licensing regulations, administered by the Department of Education's Licensing Division, require every staff member to hold current certification in pediatric first aid and CPR within 90 days of hire and before taking sole responsibility for any child. All staff on the premises and accessible to children must keep infant, child and adult CPR and pediatric first aid current.

过敏性休克与药物给药

Any staff member who administers medication must complete medication-administration training that includes auto-injectable epinephrine, renewed every two years. The center director must also adopt a policy authorizing a trained employee to administer epinephrine in good faith during an emergency — whether or not the child has a personal prescription — making prompt, trained response the standard.
