Louisiana's Bulletin 137 licensing regulations, administered by the Department of Education's Licensing Division, require every staff member to hold current certification in pediatric first aid and CPR within 90 days of hire and before taking sole responsibility for any child. All staff on the premises and accessible to children must keep infant, child and adult CPR and pediatric first aid current.
